You can visit Sloughan Glen ASSI in the west of the district near Drumquin (GR H276744). See the carpets of bluebells in the spring and the roaring waterfall all year round. If you’re lucky you might see the dippers walking under water. Car parking is available, note there are steep steps throughout pathways.
