The Biodiversity Summer School has been held at Diamond Jubilee Wood, Whitehead since the woodland officially opened in 2012. This is the fourth successful year.
The Biodiversity Summer School gives families the opportunity to learn about the natural world, and local wildlife specifically, through a variety of activities. This year participants made bird, bat and insect boxes, created bird feeders and kites from recycled materials, and had fun pond dipping, bug hunting and seed bombing.
Thanks to all who attended the Biodiversity Summer School!
We hope you had a great time learning about our wonderful wildlife.
