Would you like to do your bit in conserving your local environment? Then why not come along to the Clotworthy Arts Centre in Antrim Castle Gardens, on Tuesday 27 August at 6.00pm for annual Biodiversity Forum. There will be a special treat this year, of some foraged food for you to try before the event.
The Biodiversity Forum meets to contribute and to ensure active engagement with anyone who has an interest in conserving our local biodiversity. The evening will include an update on the Antrim Borough Biodiversity Action (ABBA) Plan from 2013 to 2015 and information to provide an opportunity for general discussion about the species and habitat action plans and an information exchange about biodiversity in general.
There will be a focus on wildlife recording and why it is so important and how you can get involved. We’ll hear from active wildlife recorders, with interesting stories on recording many different types of species from Invasive Alien Species, River Invertebrates to Swifts!
If you would like to attend or would like further information on the Biodiversity Forum or the Antrim Borough Biodiversity Action (ABBA) Plan, please contact Ruth Wilson,
