‘Give and Gain’ volunteers working towards a better environment in Mid and East Antrim

Green-fingered volunteers from the business sector have been building-up their own personal skills and helping to both construct and maintain a better environment for our local wildlife.

Volunteers across the Mid and East Antrim Borough came out in support of the innovative ‘Give & Gain Day’ on Friday 20th May 2016.

Volunteers from banking group Lloyds carried out essential tree maintenance in Diamond Jubilee Wood Whitehead. Volunteers from Belfast International Airport and from Ballymena bottlers Norbev carried out biodiversity improvements at Ecos Nature Park, Ballymena such as building and installing bird boxes.
