The bees are back in town!

We are delighted to announce that the busy bees are back at North Down Museum. Did you know that the smallest farm animal plays the greatest role in food production?

Watch the Museum’s honeybees at work through the observation beehive window in our Viking longhouse and see if you can find the queen. A must see this summer!

If you visit the museum you can also become a young explorer by borrowing an Explorers pack to discover all plants and animals who live in Castle Park. These packs contain an Explorer’s Journal, a magnifying glass, bug box, wind-up torch and species identification sheet. Ask for a pack at North Down Museum’s reception area.
